Confidence Boost

So often we concentrate on what we need to improve about ourselves. We want to do more. We want to achieve more.

Self-improvement is not a bad thing, but sometimes the need of feeling we need to improve comes from a lack of confidence and faith in ourselves.

It’s almost the end of the month and I am deep in my reflection, reviews, and planning. I found criticizing myself for what I have been not doing right, not doing enough, and I started to feel like a deflated balloon. 😔

I took a breath, shake my head off, and start writing about the things I am getting right.

We forget to consider the things we are already getting right.

𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁. 🙌

👉 Make a list of all your good qualities. ◾ The things that you are proud of. ◾ The success that you have in life, big or small.

👉 Focus on what is great about you. ◾ Tell yourself you have done great. ◾ Tell yourself you are enough.

Perhaps what we need instead of self-improvement is self-acceptance, the conviction that we are exactly where we should be and that is sufficient. ✨
