One thing about practicing yoga online, besides the benefits of practicing in your own space and time, is that it is a combination of a led and self-practice.
In an in-studio yoga class, we need to follow instructions. If we miss some instructions, or struggle in a pose, we need to move on. While at home, we have the chance to try at our own pace.
Try again. Rewatch replay. Practice at our own pace. This is something that can be an advantage over an in-studio practice.
The combination of both is powerful.
This practice with my teacher, Patrick Creelman, was learning the transition from Chatush Padasana into Paryankasana into Urhdva Dhanurasana.
The first try was wobbly and took me a while to figure out. The second try was a lot smoother. ๐
