Alignment series returns
Alignment Series returned with a more upgraded and refined study! 🥳
This month’s focus is the upper body – The shoulders and upper back.
In yoga, we use a lot of shoulders. We do a lot of weight bearing in all the Downdog, Chaturanga, Side plank… and all the arm balances! And Wheel pose’ Inversions! We need to strengthen this part of the body a lot more than we think.
But then, we also are stiff in this area. Stiff and weak are really not a place to be.
In October, I am running a 𝟰 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, focusing on refining some of the techniques to both stabilize and strengthen our shoulders and upper back. We will also troubleshoot some problematic misalignments.
Through the study, you will learn how to skilfully build both strength and length in the upper body and refine your practice.
