When students think of their struggles in arm balances, most of them think they lack shoulders and upper arm strength (because they are called “arm balances”. Some think they lack “core”. While both those could be true it may not be the full picture.
What if I tell you it can be your hips and legs?
In the past few weeks’ Alignment 2 – Refined Fundamebtaks and Beyond Series, we focus on arm balance poses that require quite a bit of hip work, including flexibility, mobility, and strength.
Some poses and transitions we practiced today (yes… I said some). 😊
Good work everyone. See you next week for Backbends.
P.S. Sharing our little transition today so you can try again and practice at home.
