โก๏ธ We so often self-doubt ourselves. โก๏ธ We fall into the well of self-sabotage. โก๏ธ We think we donโt deserve it. โก๏ธ We told ourselves we arenโt good enough. โก๏ธ We told ourselves no one cares.
Next time,
โจWhen you think you donโt deserve that opportunity you are offered, take it anyways.
โจ When you think your post/picture/video is not good enough, publish it anyways.
โจWhen you think your students may not like it, teach it anyways.
Always have fear teaching Chaturanga. Just finished the second week of ๐๐๐ค๐ช๐ก๐๐๐ง๐จ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ง ๐ฝ๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐ง๐๐๐จ in ๐ผ๐ก๐๐๐ฃ๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐๐ก๐๐จ๐จ focusing on actions in Chaturanga.
I was thinking, โMaybe no one will come.โ ๐ซข
It was silly. It was just me overthinking myself into self-rejection.
Turns out, only T-Rex ๐ฆ hates Chaturanga. T-Rex ๐ฆ is scary. Chaturanga is not. ๐
And, you are welcome. ๐
Sirsasana II (Tripod Headstand), is Inversion with Chaturanga arms.
In ๐๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ป๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฎ, we will focus on the same theme but will explore more challenging asanas and transitions including arm balances, backbends, and inversions with Chaturanga actions.
This Tripod into Parsva Kukkutasana variation looks scary. Itโs tripod + lotus + twist + transition. Itโs a lot of things. But itโs also many things that you already knew, and putting them together.
Donโt worry. Stay open. Be curious. See what happens.
P.S. Looking at my arms in the photo in Chaturanga, my hands can move back a little more. And the tripod headstand, the elbows can hug in a little more. No, itโs not that great, but damn I am posting it. ๐
