DAY 1 OF #PURE5PILLARS: HEALING - SAVASANA
Here is an interesting observation.
𝙉𝙤 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙪𝙨 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙭 (𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙜𝙖 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚).
Most information out there teaches us how to engage, and how to take action.
But we need to learn the other side, no?
If you go to the gym, no one is going to lie down after the workout.
Any class you go to, may it be a physical class, or anything, even music or art, your teacher is not going to say “Ok now please restfully.”
Savasana is unique in yoga. It’s the art of practicing relaxation and rest.
Another unique lesson from yoga is the practice of letting go.
Often we talk about yoga as healing. We think yoga can “heal” our injuries, aches, and pains. We think engaging in certain poses can fix our bodies. Maybe.
But the true power of healing in yoga may not be about fixing things, but about letting go, and letting the healing happens.

Day 1 – Healing
The first day of #PURE5Pillar Challenge is #HEALING.
Savasana is the pose to practice relaxation.
✨On the mat, practice letting go in Savasana. ✨Off the mat, take some time out each day to learn to relax and renew.
This is essential to living well. 🍃
