DAY 1 OF #PURE5PILLARS: HEALING - SAVASANA
Here is an interesting observation.

Most information out there teaches us how to engage, and how to take action.
But we need to learn the other side, no?
If you go to the gym, no one is going to lie down after the workout.
Any class you go to, may it be a physical class, or anything, even music or art, your teacher is not going to say โOk now please restfully.โ
Savasana is unique in yoga. Itโs the art of practicing relaxation and rest.
Another unique lesson from yoga is the practice of letting go.
Often we talk about yoga as healing. We think yoga can โhealโ our injuries, aches, and pains. We think engaging in certain poses can fix our bodies. Maybe.
But the true power of healing in yoga may not be about fixing things, but about letting go, and letting the healing happens.
