Refined Foundation from feet up
While we like to set big goals and think about how we can “𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴”, it’s important to revisit the foundation. 🙌
Everything grows from our roots.
We require a solid foundation to support the balance and dynamic actions and fluidity in our yoga practice to support the upper part of the body but our FEET are often ignored! 🙁
Our feet form the foundation and how they connect to the floor impacts the alignment of the whole body like a chain reaction that runs from the feet through the ankles, legs, and pelvis all the way to the crown of our head.
In Sanskrit, the word “𝗡𝘆𝗮𝘀𝗮” – refers to the art of “𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨”.
Every pose grows from the ground upwards. Activating our feet takes awareness and practice.

This February, we start the ground up.
In the 4-week Alignment Fundamental Series, we will study the actions in all the commonly practiced standing poses.
